PRESIDENT & CEO
Michael is cofounder of Webvanta. As an entrepreneur and developer, he's been building content-rich web sites since the early days of the web. He was previously Director of Technology Strategy at Adobe Systems, which he joined when it acquired Fotiva, a venture-funded photo software startup he cofounded. Prior to Fotiva, he created and ran the Microprocessor Report newsletter and the Microprocessor Forum conference. Long ago he was a hardware engineer and assembly-language programmer.
Christopher is cofounder of Webvanta and the chief architect of our back-end systems. With more than 25 years of Internet-related software experience, he leads Webvanta's architecture, back-end engineering, and server operations. In his 10 years with Adobe Systems, he was Director of Engineering for Online Services, and held engineering management roles for Photoshop, Photoshop Elements, and PhotoDeluxe. Prior to Adobe, Christopher was a co-founder or lead engineer at a number of start-ups focused on educational and game software.
Charity Grace Kirk
SENIOR DEVELOPER & PROJECT MANAGER
Charity has been working in web development for 10 years, half of that time on the Webvanta platform. Detail oriented, with a past in project management, she is very interested in easy and intuitive user interfaces. She also brings with her experience in content strategy, search engine optimization, and online marketing.
Developer & SEO Analyst
Chad has been in the web industry for the last 4 years. He specializes in front-end, mobile-friendly web development and search engine optimization. He has experience with a variety of content management systems, including the Webvanta Cloud CMS and WordPress.
Ginny studied at the Art Center College of Design and began her graphic design career as an album cover designer at London Records, Elektra/Asylum, and Motown Records. She has held positions as an art director, web designer, and project manager, for companies including Sonoma State University, San Diego State University, and Patagonia. As principal of her own design firm she has also developed identity and branding systems, packaging, publication designs.
Dan is known for his visually-rich, distinctive designs, often incorporating natural imagery. He works with customers worldwide in web design, branding, packaging, identity, collateral, illustration, and application interfaces. Back in the pre-web era, Dan was instrumental in launching products for The Nature Company and Natural Wonders and designed editions for National Wildlife Federation, African Wildlife Foundation, The National Aquarium in Baltimore and others. In 1991, Dan created the first Triazzle® puzzles, selling over five million copies of nearly 100 designs worldwide.
OFFICE MANAGER & COPY EDITOR
Irene is Webvanta's office manager and copy editor. She has many years experience in a variety of office settings, from University research labs to start-up businesses.
